I started writing on NewsBreak at the end of last month and I've just seen my first $1000 payment deposited in my account. If I post articles 3x a week for the next 2 months, I'll get 2 more $1000 payments. Much of what I've posted so far is work I've posted elsewhere previously (they're asking that you own all rights, but not that the work be previously unpublished). So I'm in for at least the next 2 months. But if it doesn't look like will hit the follower targets and keep earning, I have no problem walking away from NewsBreak. I'm tired of writing for pennies, which is what my experience with Medium has mostly been (and it's gotten worse, which is why I'm hardly posting on Medium now).
